In Settlers of K'tah, players must protect their settlements from a growing horde of zombies. The zombies will try to overtake players' castles, and when this happens they must be fought off by castle knights in a third-person fighter style mini-game.
Knight
Below is the knight that I modeled, rigged, and textured.

The rig was created using only IK controls for the limbs due to the fact that the knight will always be wielding a sword in the game
Below are shots of the knight in the game environment, including his run cycle and sword attack that I animated. I completed the animations in Maya, then set them up in UE4 using Blend Spaces and an animation Blueprint that allows him to be controlled by the arrow keys.
Bonus Character - Zombie
Ultimately, our project decided to use a different zombie design than the one seen below, but even though this one will not be seen in the finished game, I still had a great time working on it and would like to highlight some of the work I completed on it just for fun!

Below are a couple concept sketches I made of the game's zombies.
From this I modeled a zombie character in Maya and created textures for it. I then set up the rig which includes FK/IK switches for the arms, jaw and eye controls, and controls for foot rolls (see Foot Rigger tool).
Below is a zombie animation I created and imported into a Settlers of K'tah game environment in UE4.
